Robinson begins all his artwork with raw materials. Here is his shelf loaded with wood. Notice the beautiful colors!
Robinson then converts raw materials to boards of precise dimensions. These board are then cut into the ring's segments.
Here is a snapshot of one ring's segments, and the feature ring's pieces.
After the segments are glued together, Robinson begins turning the rings to desired dimensions.
Here is another example of Robinson turning the bowl. Robinson also has to turn in inside of the bowl.
After turning, Robinson must sand the project down. After sanding Robinson applies Carnauba wax and Danish oil.
Here is the the finished product. Isn't it pretty?
